I'd like to know the reasoning behind excluding him myself. It's funny, when I talked to a couple people who have seen the movie (but not read the novel), they said they guessed from the beginning he was going to be the "villain" character - even though there really isn't a typical villain in Watchmen.
Rorschach is my favorite, with Laurie and Dan coming in second and third.
I agree about the tagline totally.... I would've gone with "They're watching us, but who's watching them?" or something like that. The tagline's crappy. :(
