How do you deal with the frustration of having something in your head that you just cannot get your hands to make/paint/write? Is there something wrong, somewhere along the road between your brain and your hands that impedes you from doing what you want you to do? Or is your mind just too ambitious for your own skill? Sometimes -and these are rare times- I just keep at it and eventually manage something that somehow resembles that which I had imagined so well. And the other times- what are you supposed to do then? Just give up, or keep trying? Because there is a point in which trying and trying again, without any satisfactory results, just plain hurts. Maybe you just need to accept defeat and move on to other things- bigger, better things most adequately suited for your talent and limitations. Alright, maybe "bigger and better" is an embellishment; different things that we will eventually love and appreciate because we are inherently good at them.

I do have to make the occasional serious entry, guys. And I ask because there are so many incredibly talented, creative people in my friends list that I know could give me an honest answer. :-)
