Mood slowly improving...

I've taken like 4 "sick days" already, which were necessary because my mood was keeping me from working. It's actually a combination of the flu and hormones that is completely draining me; the bad mood is a consequence of this.

Yesterday I took the afternoon off and hung out with my friend (BFF, ugh hate that word). She's awesome and I love her but she has fandom issues. She is a Twihard. Loves Twilight, read the books, rents the dvd every now and then to watch it a few times, etc. She hasn't fully embraced the power of the internet so she fangirls with me (note: I read the first one and know everything that happens in the other books thanks to cleolinda ). I tolerate it, she's my friend, that's what we're for, right? I even let it slide that she doesn't do the same for me and Watchmen- it's not for everyone, I get it. At least she knows I like it, and my favorite character, and watched the movie (not for me) even if she didn't get it. But, even though she is a complete fangirl herself, she still couldn't understand why I would want to buy the Ultimate Edition DVD BR once it comes out later this year. Well, I love Watchmen, I liked the movie, I don't mind spending more money on something that I like so much. Is that wrong? I still don't care what anyone thinks and I'm buying anything I want and can afford, but it just... the mind boggles.

We had this exchange going, while riding the bus. I just love the confuse stares we get. xD

Her: [while discussing her possible future children] "Well, if I have a girl you know what I'm naming her."
Me: "Yeah. Wait- what are you naming her?"
Her: *long pause* "Isabella"
Me: *eye roll*
Her: "It's a beautiful name!"
Me: "Yes, but Twilight tainted it. Forever!"
Her: "You're just jealous you can't name your kid Rorschach" :B
Me: "I would NEVER do that."
(stupid laughter)
Me: "Just think... in the next 10, 15 years- this next generation: How many Bellas do you think there will be running around?"
Her: "Ah fuck. Whatever, I don't care."

Ugh. Now I'mt rying to get some work done before going to lunch with my uncle. I need a real vacation. Someone want to make a donation?

Oh god. I was thinking of naming a daughter I had Isabel {I had this thought as early as 2005}, but I know this will be a mistake.

I think I'll just stick with Cailin.
