People kept giggling during Dr Manhattan's scenes. Seriously, it's not even that big, why are you focusing on the blue penis??
Rorschach* gets all the laughs. (Of course)
Two girls left during the prison scene where they cut that guy's arms off, followed by their dates. I would have let them leave.
People complain about some blood and awkwardly bent limbs. Have they not seen Hostel and Saw (1, 2, 3... infinity)? I haven't and I didn't think it was that gory.
It's actually kind of funny when you get to the Comedian's flashbacks (the rape scene, shooting the pregnant chick) everyone gets so serious and tense. You did not see that coming, did ya?
You can see abs through that wifebeater.
Also: Mothman, nice.

Date: 2009-04-28 09:59 pm (UTC)Yeah, I know, people couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that it wasn't a superhero movie. One of my friends went to see it with her husband this weekend (because I pimped it out so much!) and she said she couldn't get too involved in the plot, that it didn't quite get her attention; I guess it's a little complicated for most people. But I had already told her it was a very serious movie, and that she shouldn't be expecting Fantastic Four or Spiderman. Her husband loved it, I advised him to get the GN for maximum enjoyment. :D
