I already tweeted this, but I was just so glad someone finally said it:

Really, I did love Black Freighter on it's own, but I'm dubious as to how well they will be able to splice it in the movie. Also, I don't have Blu-Ray and don't intend to switch any time soon. Now, if the Ultimate Edition comes out on DVD, then I'd have to think about it, if only for the scene of Walter at the newsstand asking for his copy of The New Frontiersman- but I'm hoping it will be on the Director's Cut already.

Have I been posting way too much about Watchmen? I appologize. See, I ditched all my other fandoms about a month ago and I never looked back. I got tired of House because it was always pretty much the same, and I hate Huddy. I got behind on Lost and now it just feels like way too much work catching up. I don't think anyone can blame me for running away from Heroes like if it was infected with Swine Flu. Wtf happened Heroes? You used to be cool.

Ultimate edition only on Blu-Ray? The fuck? Why is the world doing this to me? Though, if they splice the Black Freighter into the movie, that will be really weird. I still haven't seen it on my own, and I want to.

Yeah, everyone who has the chance to buy it in a store on the 21st really should. I'm so pissed about being so far away! DX Now that I preordered it I know I'll have it at least a week later, because I can just die waiting for it to get to stores here.

lol I'm not sure just how awesome the Ultimate Edition will be. Apparently all the cool stuff will be on the Blu-Ray, even for the DC which pretty much blows. We may not be cool and have a Blu-Ray player/PS3 or whatever, but we still matter. Boo Zack! Boo!!!!

Black Freighter was ok, I didn't miss it much on the movie to be honest. Under the Hood was fantastic, though.

If I had to choose, especially if the Black Freighter stuff is spliced into the movie, I'd rather have the Director's Cut over the Ultimate Edition. I really want to see Under the Hood :)

Like I've said before, I could point you in the right direction if you want to see Under The Hood. I will buy that DVD once it hits the stores here, and have it and the Director's Cut. That will be enough to make me happy :D (I don't ask for much, do I?)
